Parents can call the school choice hotline Monday – Friday from 8am – 5pm to speak to a trained HISD staff member if they have questions or issues. Parents can leave a voicemail after hours and a school choice representative will call them back the next business day.

In-Person Application Assistance
The School Choice Department offers in-person assistance Monday-Friday from 8am-4:30pm at Hattie Mae White - 4400 West 18th St.
The School Choice Department hosts 5 School Choice Fairs for families to visit various magnet programs from across the district.
Parents can receive real-time application support during the School Choice fairs.
